Editora Naipe started in 2010 as a publishing company. Initially thought to cater the university students, its content quickly grew out of this niche and became a reference in presenting the city of Florianópolis, Brazil, to the natives and tourists.
Revista Naipe was a free, bi-monthly, magazine that reflected the thoughts of the millennials and their culture in Florianópolis. A group of talented journalists, designers and photographers got together to write with wit and sharpness about their hometown, its culture, habits and flaws. The eclectic voice had resonance with the structured, but flexible, layout. I was both co-directing the art and contributing to articles about art and culture.
