Fuckcars is a project that believes in bicycles. More than urns, televisions, or crucifixes. It doesn't matter if they are made of steel, chromium-molybdenum, or carbon. If they were designed for running, jumping, or walking. The important thing is not how much they cost or where they were bought. The important thing is how far they can take you.
Designer Diogo Rinaldi and chef Fabrício Finardi, creators of the project in Florianópolis, intended to return forgotten bicycles to the streets in garages, attics, basements, and backyards. Upcycling is the flag hoisted: transforming discarded products into objects of greater value, use, or quality.
There are no limits to customization: new or factory paint, hand-stitched or original seats, stainless steel or four-decade screws, bottle cages, or analog speedometers. The goal is to make people fall in love with bikes and flood the city with new or old cyclists.
