1HOBO started as a modern take on the American hobo attitude of nomadic and itinerant encounters. Spontaneous interpersonal
relationships, unattachment, honest smiles, humble appreciation. And the beauty of the journey, the endless pursuit of our own truth.

Hobos used graphic quotes, symbols and signatures with chalk to leave their mark throughout their paths. Reasoning: to claim a spot, to pinpoint a location, leave messages or codes for the ones sympathetic to the philosophy. Sometimes just as a way to spend the time till the train left.

We were not arrogant and cynic to pretend to promote this lifestyle. Yet we should be less attached to our ʻstuffʼ, reclaim/reuse/recycle, embrace nature, be altruistic, listen more... And more than that, reflect upon our journey!...and leave a mark on the way!
